Grant Prep Packet

Get your grant prep done before the next deadline catches you out.

Grant prep gets scattered across folders, inboxes, and people's heads. This packet pulls it together: build a reusable foundation once, then prep each specific grant from it. Start with the free Grant Readiness Check.

The packet is $49 one-time. The Grant Readiness Check is free.

A look inside

A look at what you actually get.

Watch a short walkthrough, then see the screens up close. Everything here is built to help you get organized and prepared before you apply.

A quick walkthrough of the builders.

The problem

Funders expect a lot, and most of it is scattered.

When a grant opportunity opens, funders expect your 501(c)(3) documents, a current board roster, an organizational budget, financial statements, and a clear case for why your work matters. For most small nonprofits, that information lives in five different places, and the scramble starts every single time.

The fix is not working harder on the next deadline. It is building the pieces once, in a form you can reuse, then tailoring them per funder. That is exactly how this packet is built.

How it works

Two parts: build once, then prep each grant.

Part A

Your reusable grant foundation

Build the reusable core once: your organizational identity, a legal and financial readiness checklist, your capacity story, a standing statement of need, a logic model, your outcomes approach, reusable narrative blocks, and a grants calendar. You own all of it.

Part B

Prep a specific grant

For each opportunity, pull from your foundation so you are not starting over: screen the funder for fit, define the project, build the project budget and narrative, tailor to the funder's guidelines, draft a letter of inquiry if needed, and run a final submission check.

What is inside

Everything you build, and keep.

Plain-language questions in, finished components out. You own every export and can hand it to any writer.

Start free

The free Grant Readiness Check is the front door.

A short, scored self-check across the areas funders actually look at: your 501(c)(3) status, governance, budgets, your case for support, and how you measure outcomes. You get a readiness score by area and a prioritized list of what to fix first. Free, with your email to see the full result.

Take the free readiness check

This is for you if

  • You are an emerging or growing nonprofit, roughly $50K to $500K
  • You have a 501(c)(3), or a fiscal sponsor
  • You have at least one staff member or a committed executive director
  • You are focused on foundation, state, and local grants

This is not for you if

  • You are all-volunteer with no 501(c)(3) and no fiscal sponsor (start with the free readiness check for your next steps)
  • You are chasing large federal grants or complex multi-funder packages
  • You need legal or tax advice on your nonprofit status
If you want a hand

Hit a hard or high-dollar grant?

If you reach a grant that is large or complex and you would rather have someone write it, there is a grant writer we trust who takes on this work as her own practice. It is an optional referral if you want help, not part of the packet and not required. The packet is built so you can do the work yourself and own everything you build.
